GARAGE DOOR TUNE-UP
Garage door squeaks or noisy opener made quiet again. Check all screws and lag bolts for tightness and replace any screws or lag bolts that are stripped or missing. There are approximately 180 fastening points checked on a 16 x 7 steel sectional garage door with automatic opener.
GARAGE DOOR OPENER INSTALLATION
We carry all the major brands including: Genie, Lift-Master, Marantec, Sommer, Guardian
SPRINGS REPLACEMENT
Residential garage door springs replaced. Steel sectional garage door torsion springs and extension springs available.
GARAGE DOOR SAFETY INSPECTION
Includes checking for proper balance of garage door. If your garage door is to heavy you might not be able to manually open it in an emergency or power outage, fire etc. Check for proper emergency release on garage door opener. Check garage door opener force and limit adjustments. The up and down force adjustments are critical when your garage door has something or someone in the way that the safety beams cannot detect like a bumper in the way or a bicycle in the image. Check for loose or missing screws and bolts. Checking for worn rollers. Check for broken or cracked hinges. If corrections or repairs are needed an estimate will be provided.
SERVICE CALL
Service call is a charge for getting a garage door service technician with a service truck to your property. Also known as a trip charge.
GARAGE DOOR OFF TRACK/CABLE OFF DRUM
The picture above is a door off track with cable off drum, bent top and intermediate sections. Sections can be straightened and door is completely repairable.

How long do springs last?
As long as it takes to cycle 10,000 times. Open & close is one cycle. If you open & close your garage door 4 times a day that's 4 x 365= 1460 per year x 6.8 years = 9,928 cycles. Open & close once a day and the spring will last 27.2 years. As you can see its all about the cycles its not about the age of a spring. Rusty springs will shorten life cycles as they become more brittle.
